Dear farther & md Mother and Sisters brothers as soone I should like to see you all I reseved farther letter to day and was very glad to hear from you and hear from you it made feeal to rejise to hear that you was all well I thought farther that you want going to right eney more I wase glad to hear that you reseved the last money that I sent you I should have sent the first but the express men wont give eney resets and sed he wood send them when when got to fortrid moorrow so I wood not trust it so I sent it by male and if it is lost I cant help it now I was glad glad to hear that you was well and mother and the brothers and sisters/
I wish we had some money to send to you but we shall gett it sooner this time for we are the third in the dervision we are in the first Brigade third rigment we are in fosters brigade so there aint onley to rigments before us we was in reanoes brigade he is secant brigade and was transferd for they call the six one of the best in the feild
I will send it just as soon as you we get it I should like to be up there and see how things look they say that we must put in all the in fifteen so I in till next time Joseph Mead
