Mary Ann Derbyshire
Mary Ann Derbyshire (maiden name: Linn) was born around 1829 in England to James and Mary Ann Linn. She married Thomas Derbyshire on March 15, 1851, and they had at least three children: Mary Ann, born on December 7, 1852; Elizabeth, born on July 10, 1854; and William, born on March 3, 1860. Her husband worked as a watchman in Lowell, Massachusetts. They moved to Temple, New Hampshire, in the 1850s, and her husband worked as a farmer there. By 1860, they owned $1,000 of real estate and $400 of personal property. A decade later, they owned $1,200 of real estate and $600 of personal property. Her husband died on September 17, 1891, and she passed away on May 27, 1894.
