Dear Uncel I take this opertunety to rite yow a few lines to let yow now that I am well at presant & hoping these few lines will find yow the same uncel I aint never sent you nerya leter yet and I thout I wood rite a few lines to yow to let yow now where I am I am about 40 miles this side ove Louisvill near lisebth town we are about one mile ove tow but we dont now wethe we will stay here or not but we think we will leave here pirty soone but uncel I exspect to send yow a bout 20 dolars next pay day for yow to keep for me so I will have a litle money left when I never get home but tell ant mary I send my best respects but I wood like to se yow all but I am a frid I wont se you /
