                                                                                                            Dear wife and famley
I got a pas yester morning to go in the ambalance to warrington jucsion with the regement.
 
the ambalance did not go so we ware taken to the hospitall cep us over nite. This mornng we started for warrington jucsion in the ambalance. I was som sick the Docter sed I had the reumitism the Divison Dr. sed so Dr Strauss not so it is not that ales me
 
Sunday. I did not get time rite aletter when i felt like riting. I wanted to hav had this went last evening I am in hopes you will get this sattarday I am a little beter to day I am not verry wall my appitite is some better I am in hopes thease few lines may reach you in joying good heth I recev your letter last evening was verry happy to here that you all was wall. And you ware doing so wall thare ware 4.00 in monney in this last letter it com verry good I bout some chease to day. I went to market for the Dr I gav 10 cence for one lb. of chease thre [paper hole] not much sunday here. I recev aletter from Welcome last evening was glad to here from him. Thare was hard fite last evening nere here thare was a big union victory. I wood drother Square P wood take that pease you bot of frankline Put in corn and Potatoes so you will not hav so much to do giv Square a good chance if he will draw out the meneure on it I wood advise you not to get sod brock nex summer get som seeded that you hav under the plow then that reuf by the barn plowed made smothe /
 
I hav 6 postage stampes left yet you wanted to no about selling stock ask David Pratt he can tell you better then I can what to do for I cannot see it to tell you enney thing abau it. I wood not feed enney good corn to the hogs for it will sell for more some other way you need not send me enney more paper nor invlopes I can get tham now of the Sutler I think my liver is effected. my Sides is sore my left side is verry sore some times my sholders are sore small of my back is sore
