My dear brother and sister I take the preasant opertunity to write afew lines to you to let you know that we are all well but alice and she has had the croop but she is beter now. Emily and Mr Hubbard has wrote aleter to send this week and ihope when these few lines come to hand they will find you all well. the peaches are not all killed yet but the early apels are all killed. pap planted his potatoes last week and they hade kept the best kinde it rained so hard last Saturday eavning that Albert Could not get home until Sunday morning he says they will get done in about aweek more at perlees idont no wher they will be after that go to war igues Jim was agoing with Sales and his company but Mr Hefferen has told such lies to the govner but he went to Indanopalis and got up ahorse company in Sales plase but sales went to see the govner a Sunday and come back a monday and we have not heard how he made out. we havent planted any corn yet but we are agoing to this week Mrs Hubbard was very sick a Sunday night but she is alittle beter now barny run a way yesterday and hurt him self but not much pap is agoing to sell him as soon as he can get the chance Emily Hubbard is agoing to send sarah some cypress seed. Dear Julia I take the preasant opertunity to write afew lines to you ihope you find plenty of boys out there iheard how you and Jim were a cuting around out there the day of the log roling you got mad a nouf to bite like a hog so iheard iheard that you and Jim took a[?] the other sunday night and you sit up all might until will got up in the morning to make a fire and then Jim looked like a buck rabet half skeerd to death and you went to bed and he went / away alooking like he had been a stealing iexpect he did steal your hankerchief i wish you would come home ido want to see you so bad iwant you to write to me for ihave nothing mutch to write at preasant so farewell E E Forder to J A Hubbard
Wenday evenging we wee have been planting corn to day for the first time Mrs Hubbrd is a little better this evening she was rite sick all night i got well laft at for thanken you for the corn you never sent but never mind i ges i cane stand it your’s untill death
