            Respected Cousins,
                                                I seat myself this evening at candle lighting to pen you a few thoughts we received your kind letter and was glad to learn that you were all well. well girls I wish you was here to night I bet we would have some fun I feel like I could tear up Jack If you was here we would make som candy and have a big time I would make you help us do the feeding I just go a ripping around without my hoops I look about like a fence rail just come up when I get the mumps and I will look better than ever dont you think I would / the butternuts have pretty near all cralled in their holes and pulled their holes in after them dont you wish they would pull them in so far they would never get out Bet said she would like to give them a pop she wouldent shoot one with her leather gun if she had a chance. Dave Lands is at home on Furlough I hope he will knock a little sense into old Bige while he is here Sarah Lands has gone to Dixie for all I know or care She has been a tarring up sam patch her and Jo Mickels has been a pitching around like two stray dogs Dave says he wont live with her another day. I wouldent neither if I was him She is gone nobody knows where she is. we turned her and old Bige and John McCoy out of / meeting last Saturday Bige was turned out for: telling lies John McCoy for misconduct in the Church O: girls if I could see you to night I could talk a fair streak. I wish you would just come over till I could take a peep at you. Your dresses look very nice I guess I will have to quit for it is nine oclock give my love to all I remain your loveing cousin.                                     I will try to write you a few lines though I can tell you before I comence I havent much to write for the girls wrote everything I knew though I am right end up and I hope when this reaches you it will / find you in the sam fix I would like to see you all so well and have some fun Bill Marts has took that Baby to raise that was swore to Uncle Curst Ira the woman is maried now and she wants it back and the wont let her have it Abe Martses had a baby and she like to a died but she is a getting well now
 
I wish you could see me a sitting here a trying to think of something to write I set here and get Ink on my pen and it dries up be fore I can think of eny thing I wish you would hurry and come back so I wont have to write to you for I would as leave do something else If I could think of something I wouldent care Em I would a liked to a seen yow about the time your beaw was there I would liked to been thare to helped yow talked I expect I would a talked so much I wouldent talked at all Jule if yow dont write to me next time I will come down and cut yow I will have to close for the paper wont let me write any more Farewell                 Mollie             to all of yow write soon eve one of you
