Mary (Mollie) Booher was born around 1849 in Indiana to William Martin Booher and Lydia Cox. Her father was a farmer who owned $9,000 of real estate and $3,500 of personal property by 1860. Her mother died around 1854. She grew up and attended school in Franklin, Indiana, and she married Aniel Cunningham on February 28, 1867. They had at least two children: Olive, born around 1868; and Wallace, born around 1869. They lived in Franklin, and her husband worked as a farmer. By 1870, they owned $3,000 of real estate and $150 of personal property. She died in 1876.
