with pleasure I take my pen in hand to answer your kind and welcom letter which come to hand in diew time it was recieved and read with great pleasure for it had bin so long cins we had a letter from any of you I thought that you had all forgoten me you was all out there to gather and I was left behind and you had all forgoten me well Sarah I dreamed last nite night leaving with yu all but when I awoke it was all fas well Sarah I would love to see you all the best in the world /

well mother I must tell you that I have got all of my flax cleaned and have spun fourteen dozen and have wove 11 yards and have got to the weavers now of flax and coten you had out to be here to see the new thing that I have got well I must quit for I have scribel more now than you can read mother I want you to make the girls rite oftner to me I often say if mother could rite I would heare from home oftner than I do rite soon and often one and all /
