Frances S. Knight to Sarah M. Shaeffer, 9 July 1897
July 9. 1897.
Mrs. Hatch.

Dear Madam:
You will find enclosed a membership ticket for Wimodaughsis, which I take the liberty to ask you to purchase. It entitles the holder to the privilege of the library, parlors, social evenings and admission to classes on payment of tuition fees.

Wimodaughsis is for the benefit of women (and men are welcome) especially those who have no opportunity for a systematic course of instruction at school or college, and dues are placed at a figure which does not exclude anyone. We are anxious to build up a yearly sustaining membership, and believe there are many who know of our work and be glad to pledge a dollar annually for the organization.

Please return card or price in enclosed envelope. If the card is to be used for classes it should be presented to have name entered.

                                                                                    Yours truly,
                                                                                                Frances S. Knight
                                                                                                            Cor. Sec'y.
