Sarah W. Quimby to Charles Quimby, 19 June 1861
       Concord  June the 19    1861

My ever Dear Child   We were
glad to get a letter from you to day
We wrote one a Sunday   hope you have
received it  I am sorry to hear
you have been unwell.  I have
always hoped that whilst I lived
my Boys would be were I could take
care of them when sick.   but it
seems to be otherwise and I must
try and submit.  I do not lay
down without thinking of you nor
sit down to try to eat a mouthful
without first thinking of you.
I should be glad to come over if you
cant come home.  but I do not
know how it will be if you
want som more feetings    write
and I will send you som
We should be glad to send something every
day if we could get a chance
I have a great deal more to write
but have not the time now so
good by for this time
