Sarah W. Quimby

Sarah W. Quimby (maiden name: Hudson) was born in Vermont around 1813 to Amasa Hudson. Her father was a farmer in Concord, Vermont. She married Roswell Quimby in Lunenburg, Vermont, on December 5, 1830, and they had at least four children: Luthera, born around 1834; Charles, born around 1840; George W., born around 1843, and Hiram, born around 1846. At least two of her sons served in the Union army. She remained in Concord for the rest of her life, and she died there on May 31, 1896.
