Charles J. Arms to Hiram P. Arms, 21 May 1860
New Haven May 21st 60

Dear Father:
You know what I want probably—Shall I come and stay over Sunday? I am tickled to death. Of course George will not stay until my vacation. I will do just what you say. If you don't think it best for me to come all right. I don't think he can get in for the 11 o'clock train. So he will come only of as far as the Landing and take a carriage. I await an answer impatiently. Shall expect it Wednesday morn. If I dont get it you will see me.

Hurriedly,
Son Chas

I sent you a letter this morn & got one from Sallie.
