Dear parents tis with great pleasher that i got your letter to night and to see the boys to little devels they looked jest as natural as life iam jest as well as ever I was in my life and hope thes few lines will find you the sam to and all the rest to and you was very foolish to be lonsom and to work to for i dident work atall rather and had agood oyester super to so you neadent feel so big about your oyesters but i had to pay for them but ho cares for that i dont i am dam glad that i want ther with you to 
 
Was very sory to hear that you and edwin dont agree dont be afraid of me he wont get eney money of me that is so The stockings are nice shure as the devel Mother now if you have got eney more of them than you want jest say so but dont send eney till I say so mind it now the gloves I hint got when you send the box you may send me another pare of good ones to and be shure to direct it to me now
 
                        Give my love to harvey Johnson and his sister to if you pleas give my love to all the rest of them to Tell Charles McKinney that i have rote to him Tell John Capen so to you no that gorge / dident right to me when he was in [?] Now he has got whare he is lonsome Jest let him be awhile and then see about it you no that John Capen was oeing me som money has he paid it yet or not And tell me how much Neuman Allen had for pasturing my colt if you pleas to
