William Jones
William Jones was born around 1829. By the early 1860s, he was living in Texas. He enlisted in the Confederate army, and he mustered in as a corporal in Company B of the 28th Texas Cavalry on April 5, 1862. He fell ill in June 1863, and he spent a month recovering. He remained in the army until at least February 1864, and he died sometime afterward.
