Mary Louisa McNary Darby

Mary Louisa McNary Darby (maiden name: McNary) was born on February 16, 1844, in Princeton, Kentucky, to Dr. Thomas Logan and Maria Louisa McNary. She married Patrick Henry Darby in Kentucky in 1870. They had three children: Mariah, born about 1872; Nannie F., born about 1874; and Lucy born about 1880. She spent much of the end of her life in Paris, Kentucky, with her sister and two older daughters, who were in school there at the time. She eventually returned to the Caldwell County, where she died on December 16, 1901, of heart failure in Princeton. She is buried next to husband in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
