Lillie Eversfield (maiden name: Talbott) was born on April 23, 1853, in Montgomery County, Maryland, to Benson and Maria Talbott. Around 1873, she married William Octavius Eversfield, likely in Maryland. Together they had four children: Eleanor Wailes, born on July 29, 1874; Donald, born on December 7, 1876; Octavius Charles, born on September 29, 1885; and Lilian, born on November 17, 1886. She continued to live in College Park, Maryland, following the death of her husband in 1908. She died on May 21, 1952, at the old age of 99 and is buried alongside her husband in Prince George’s County, Maryland, in the Saint John's Episcopal Church Cemetery.
