Joanna T. Eversfield

Joanna T. Eversfield (maiden name: Joanna B. Talbot) was born on March 2, 1833, in Newark, New Jersey, to Eliza Schuyler and Mortimer Talbot. She married Charles Eversfield on August 16, 1853. The service was performed in Norfolk, Virginia, by Joanna's father, a U.S. navy chaplain. The couple had no children. Following her husband’s death on October 4, 1873, she received a pension of $30 per month. By the time of her death, she appears to have moved to Princeton, New Jersey. She died on March 22, 1918, and is buried in Princeton.
