Caroline A. Febiger

Caroline A. Febiger (maiden name: Smith) was born on November 29, 1829, in Cincinnati, Ohio, to Edmund C. and Mary Scoville (Cotton) Smith. She married George Lea Febiger as his second wife on April 5, 1849. According to the 1850 Census, they lived with her brother-in-law, John Febiger, at his home in Cincinnati. They had one child: Elizabeth Frances, born on July 9, 1850. Caroline died on October 15, 1852, in Cincinnati, where she is buried.
