Sarah Belle Isbell

Sarah Belle Isbell (maiden name: McDonald), known as "Belle," was born on March 6, 1858, in Missouri. She married John Isbell there on June 13, 1877. Together they had two daughters: Alice Maude, born in September 1878; and Mary Mildred, born in October 1887. She was a devoted member of the Presbyterian church and regularly attended services with her husband. She did not receive a pension following her husband’s death on February 10, 1922, in Washington, Missouri. She died in 1934 in Franklin County, Missouri, where she is buried alongside her husband.
