Marie Louise Sloan

Marie Louise Sloan (maiden name: Clark) was born in New York in 1862. On November 19, 1885, she married Samuel Crockett Sloan in New York City. The couple had one child: Robert Harrison, born in 1892. In 1897, Marie sued Samuel for alimony on the grounds of cruelty and mistreatment. The outcome of the case is unclear based on extant records. She died on November 27, 1901, and is buried with her parents in Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
