Mary D. Thornley

Mary D. Thornley (maiden name: Pearce) was born in Maryland around 1832 to Nathaniel Pearce of New York and his wife. She married John Thornley on April 2, 1856, at Grace Church in Baltimore, Maryland. They had one son together: Clarence Thornley, born around 1857. She died on April 22, 1861, in Morristown, New Jersey, of an unknown illness. Thornley is buried in the Green-Wood Cemetery in Brooklyn, New York.
