Death of Dr. H. J. Churchman – Dr. Henry Jewett Churchman, died of kidney disease, at his residence in Staunton, on Saturday night last, and was buried on yesterday morning in Thornrose Cemetery, from Trinity (Episcopal) Church.

He was a son of the late John Churchman of Augusta, and a brother of the late Dr. V. T. Churchman, of Greenville. For many years he was a practicing physician in Augusta county and elsewhere, in which profession he held a good position. He was a man of kind heart, and highly regarded by all who knew him.
