Dearest and best Ruth good morning. i am well O could i but know that you ware well too, good dear children, how is your health this pleasent and beautiful…Laura pleas kiss little toty and tell her that her pa will come and kiss her some day O this is a hard life to live to be deprived of my family and pleasures so sweet o may i not deceive the sweet Ruth thou knowest it let it be forgotton and let us look forward to the future yes to contemplated days of happyness that may be in store for we will look to Jesus for comfort maby he will suffer us to meet on earth again to spend a few [?] mornings in tranquility and peace O my dear companion let us be prepared for death at all times that we may sore to a world whare all our toubles will vanish whare pleasure never dies O wont it be joyous to meet to part no more on that golden shore O my dear family if i should [stain] no more on this side the grave prepare to meet me in heaven sweet heaven whare pleasure never dies..thare will be no more sorrow but all is love, peace, joy, O what a consoleing thought give my best to all friends
