Description
The 1955 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map shows a series of connected buildings at 628 25th Street. The portion facing the street is brick-faced cinderblock. The easternmost section is an office; the westernmost is a store, probably Alice's. Connected to the rear of the store and the west side of the ell behind the office is a two-story frame building that served as apartments. Behind the apartment stands a two-story cinderblock addition. The apartments have a slate or tin roof; the rest of the structure has composition roofing.
