The 1914-1951 Sanborn Insurance Company Map #165 indicates that the building was building of apartments or "flats." It has been demolished.
Detailed History
The Dru Moore Inn is listed in the 1938 and 1939 Green Book Directories. Mamie West McKinnon is shown in the Baltimore City Directory for 1929 and 1942 as living at 839 North Fremont Avenue, although in the 1940 US Census, she lived with her husband and 5 lodgers at 809 North Fremont Avenue. "Dru Moore" does not appear to be a real individual and it is possible that if people turned up asking for the Inn by that name they would be directed to Mrs. McKinnon. She also worked as a dressmaker while her husband worked in construction.
