Physical Status

Description

The site is currently occupied by a two-story residential structure, which replaced two older one-story buildings -- a shop and a club -- that occupied the property according to the 1925 Sanborn map.

Detailed History

Operated as a roadhouse, the building is listed on a Sanborn map of the town from 1925 as a single-story frame structure housing a club. However, it is no longer standing. It and the building next to it have been demolished and absorbed into what is now the property of 2 Banbury Court. As of 2023 no information about ownership could be found from the census or advertisements. Business is sometimes listed as either "Freddy's" or "Freddie's."
