Research has not confirmed this location. Different addresses were tried, in case the Green Book had a typo: 315 1st St S, 315 11th St S, 315 1st Ave S, 315 11th Ave S. There was a Dick Hall's Skelly Service station at 3515 Minnehaha Avenue in the 1950 city directory, which was managed by Richard J Hall (wife Vivian F). In 1948 Lawrence Newberg operated a filling station at 3515 Minnehaha Avenue, and Richard J Hall operated a filling station at 2801 Franklin Avenue. 3515 Minnehaha Avenue as depicted on the 1950 Sanborn Map is no longer extant, and the current building on the site dates to the 1950s.
