Detailed History
The hotel advertised in the Green Book was constructed in 1946, and was the only luxury hotel in Hana on Maui's rainy east coast. A later renovation provided garden suites and sea ranch cottages for guests. Hana is famous for its black sand beach at Waianapanapa.
