The history of Hawkins at 36 Favor Street is unknown. This structure’s original neighborhood was destroyed and rebuilt during Rochester’s urban revitalization projects in the late 1960s and early 1970s. Note that most of the streets in this area have been renamed, and addresses renumbered. The original property’s current location is land owned by the Greater Bethlehem Temple (40-42 Favor Street).
