Description
A three-story building with rooms, and a separate reception and dining building. The reception building had a standing seam metal gable roof .
Detailed History
Initially constructed in 1888, the original Hilo Hotel was demolished in 1953 and a new building was constructed on the same location in 1958. It remained in business until the 1990s when it was closed. The hotel buildings remain standing.
