Detailed History
Inman Walker obtained the property that once housed the Eureka Sanitarium, the Lawnside Inn, and the Hi-Hat Inn, by final decree on 23 March 1948. By 1952, the property was known as the Inman Hotel. When Walker died unexpectedly in 1961, his wife, Minnie Walker, assumed ownership and management of the hotel. In 1966, she sold the hotel to Loretta Adams, who, in 1982, sold the hotel to the South Jersey Land Company. That same year, the South Jersey Land Company sold part of the property to Jiffy Lube International, Inc. No remnant of the original structure survives.
