Detailed History
Marinda Jones was the widow of Sam Jones, who died in 1971 and left Marinda property on McGhee Street. In 1940, they lived on Forest Road/RFD 1. According to the book "Bedford Black History," Marinda Jones ran a B&B. Mrs. Jones' estate settled in 1996, so she had passed away by that year.
