Detailed History
Built in 1950, the Nathan Hale Motor Inn advertised a cocktail lounge, restaurant, and pool. Like the Three Judges Motel, it was located just off exit 59 of Wilbur Cross Parkway and would have been a convenient overnight stop for travelers. Nothing is known about its ownership or clientele. As of 2023, the facility still operates as a motel, renamed the Regal Inn. Much of the original architecture remains intact.
