Description
The 1955 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map shows a service station at the SE corner of the intersection of Jefferson and Hampton with the address of 2114 Jefferson. The filling station itself is one-story brick, with a larger cinder block "washing" connected to the rear/east elevation. The west side of the intersection has various stores and nothing that would have served as a service station. Photo is of the current site, not the Green Book business.
