Description
Otto's Inn is a two-story, three-bay, brick building with a side gable composition shingle roof and side chimneys. A mini hipped roof delineates the first from the second floor. The second story has one-over-one windows. The first story has two entry doors and large showroom windows flanking the southernmost door. There is space for a sign over these windows and door.
Detailed History
Note that this property is not within the Broad Street Commercial Historic District. Per the National Register nomination, 1st and 2nd Streets were excluded from the district as they were streets with a major shopping area for Richmond's black community and has a different history and architectural character.
