Description
The 1955 Sanborn Fire Insurance Map for Hampton shows 216 North King as one of three connected two-story brick shops in a row. A one-story frame addition spans the east/rear elevation. Roofs are slate or tin. The property immediately to the south, 200 - 204 North Main, is a cinder block auto sales and service building.
Detailed History
There is no West King today, but this would have been in the block of North King between Syms and Lincoln, now taken up by the Minetti Public Safety Building.
