Description
Part of a commercial streetscape at the corner of Jefferson Avenue and William Street. 377 William Jefferson was a one-story structure adjoining the three-story restaurant at the corner. The main block of 377 was wooden frame and had a composition roof. The street facing side had a porch. To the rear, there was an additional one-story extension that connected it to 472 William Street.
Detailed History
George and Sue McDonald operated the Pepper Pot Restaurant from at least 1932 to 1947. Currently, a Rite Aid Pharmacy and a parking lot are on the land where 486 William Street was.
