Description

According to a 1926-1951 Buffalo Sanborn Map, this business was housed in a three-story building on the east side of Jefferson Avenue between Woodlawn Avenue and Glenwood Avenue.

 

Detailed History

Texas Red Hots is a Buffalo staple food. A form of chili dog, Texas Red Hots can be commonly found in Western New York to this day. This Texas Red Hot stand was in operation until at least 1975. The former location is now an empty lot.
