The 1914-1951 Sanborn Insurance Company Map shows that the building was 2-stories with windows at the rear. According to an Afro American story, the second floor was also a club room. It was adjacent the the Philadelphia, Wilmington & Baltimore Railroad Station on Pennsylvania Avenue
