Description
The motel consists of a number of separate one-story buildings, some octagonal in shape and some rectangular. The property also includes a pond. The octagonal buildings are clad in brick and feature a cupola. The office, located near the public road and main parking area, combines the octagonal and rectangular forms.
Detailed History
Russ & Winnie Sizemore were at one point managers. From newspaper articles, it seems to have been a site of regular police interaction as well as a semi-permanent residence for travelers.
