Description
Three-story brick building with composition roof on the northwest corner of Cedar and William. The walls were 12 inches thick on all 3 floors. The height from the ground to roof level was 36 feet according to the Sanborn map from 1925-1951. Two sets of windows were on the west side of building on the upper floors. The building neighbored stores lining William Street and a garage and auto repair shop on Cedar.
Detailed History
Little is known about Mandy's. It was on William Street and only a few lots from the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church on Cedar Street. The site is currently an empty lot.
