Martha Estill
Martha Estill (maiden name: Jenison) was born around 1837 in Illinois to John Singletary Jenison and Martha McNabb. Her father was a farmer who owned $1,000 in 1850. Her father died around 1853, and her mother passed away around 1858. She grew up and attended school in Menard County, Illinois, and she married Samuel Estill there on April 14, 1855. Their son Joseph was born around 1857. Samuel worked as a farmer in Menard County, and in 1860, the family owned $1,825 of real estate and $625 of personal property. Their son died around 1865, and Martha followed soon afterward, dying in Illinois on November 1, 1866.
