Henry Kirk Burr
Henry Kirk Burr was born on November 20, 1857, in Northbridge, Massachusetts, to Albert and Sarah Burr. His father was a farmer who owned $2,800 of real estate and $800 of personal property by 1870. He grew up and attended school in Northbridge, and by 1880, he was working in a machine shop. He married Amelia Warmsley on May 7, 1902, and they had at least three children: Ida May, born around 1906; Florence, born around 1907; and Frank, born around 1914. They lived in Northbridge, and Burr worked as a machinist. He died in 1922.
