Laura A. Brant
Laura A. Brant was born around 1846 in Bainbridge, Michigan, to Nathaniel and Martha Brant. Her father was a farmer who owned $3,000 of real estate and $880 of personal property by 1860. She grew up and attended school in Bainbridge, Michigan, and she married Henry C. Green on January 9, 1862. They had at least two children: Thomas, born around 1864; and Flavilla, born around 1867. They lived in Pipestone, Michigan, and her husband worked as a farmer. She died of “child bed fever” in Pipestone on April 22, 1870.
