Mary Ann Rutherford was born around 1838 in Ohio to John and Sarah Rutherford. Her father was a farmer who owned $500 of real estate by 1850. She grew up and attended school in Genoa, Ohio. She married Abraham Robbins on October 29, 1867. They lived in Michigan, Indiana, and her husband worked as a farmer. By 1870, they owned $300 of personal property. They moved to Blendon, Ohio, in the late 1800s, and her husband died by the early 1900s. She married Levi Baughman on April 2, 1904, and she died sometime after 1910.
