Anna Lyman Parker (maiden name: Lyman) was born around 1824 in Northfield, Massachusetts, to Josiah and Elizabeth Lyman. She married Francis Jewett Parker on April 28, 1846, and they had at least three children: Francis, born around 1847; Clara, born around 1849; and Elizabeth, born around 1862. They lived in Boston, Massachusetts, and her husband worked as a merchant. By 1860, they owned $12,000 of real estate and $30,000 of personal property. They moved to Newton, Massachusetts, in the 1870s, but they returned to Boston by 1900. She died of “senile pneumonia” in Brookline, Massachusetts, on August 28, 1903.
