Cora Morfoot was born around 1857 in Ohio to Charles Morfoot and Elizabeth Boyer. His father was a bricklayer who owned $500 of real estate by 1860. She grew up and attended school in Bucyrus, Ohio, and she married Jacob R. Bensinger on October 22, 1876. They had at least two children: Joanna, born around 1877; and Charles, born around 1879. They lived in Bucyrus, and her husband worked as a butcher. Her husband died in 1910. She remained in Bucyrus, and by 1930, she owned a house valued at $1,800. She died in 1934.
